About the Event

A day of classes at Bee Tattooed Stockport, two classes including hands on workshop skills.

Transitioning - cannulas, blades or both?  We start by looking at bevel theory how and why it affects and applies to the differences between the two styles. Marking up taking bevel theory in to consideration. Looking at the most common use of both styles and how to adapt your current methods to use blade needles, such as using blades with clamps and other useful tools and tricks. The benefits of moving to or including blade needles in your tool kit and effective jewellery options for the best results. Ending in a practical workshop to get to grips with the techniques shown.  (Potential of live piercing as well, volunteers depending)

Minors: Why they're awesome and special considerations. This class is the focus on piercing and dealing with kids/ minors. Looking at the difference between dealing with children and adults, more specifically how to deal with those difficulties more specific to children such as the reactions you're likely to face. General bedside manner and how it needs to differ for those younger clients. Touching on how to deal with the different types of parents that we may encounter if we offer such services. The final point is why it is worth it to offer such services, beyond the obvious health benefits.

Please message to register your interest including a copy of your licence to verify your status as a working piercer.

Apprentices welcome if accompanied by the registered piercer from their studio.
