About the Event
The first in person seminar day of the year, this will be a day filled with learning, reuniting with friends and making new industry conections.
The plan for the day is to cover the main topics I will outline below in more detail and then for those staying and wishing to have agood catch up after the classes.
Piercing - The anatomy of healing
This class is an in depth look at the bodys anatomy, the way we heal and how it portrays to healing piecings. Looking at the diffrrent tissue types, placements and how they all each need specific care in regards to piercing. We will also look at common issues that arise during the healing process and how to tackle them.
Bevel Theory - Cannulas, Blades or both?
We start by looking at bevel theory how and why it affects and applies to the differences between the two styles. Marking up taking bevel theory in to consideration. Looking at the most common use of both styles and how to adapt your current methods to use blade needles, such as using blades with clamps and other useful tools and tricks. The benefits of moving to or including blade needles in your tool kit and effective jewellery options for the best results.
Live marking technique & Roundable (Now included in the above class)
Exactly what it says it is we will go over and I will be showing you some useful marking techniques for certain areas of the body and the range of diffrent tools for the job as well. This will give us all a chance to help eachother and learn some new or perfect old methords.
Septums - How, Why and is Stright really stright?
This class looks at the diffrent techniques and methords of septum piercings and why so many issues cause problems with the end results for people. I cover a range of methords you can use to perform these piercings as well as an indepth look into the anatomy and why stright is not always stright when it comes to these sometimes tricky piercings.
All attendiees will also recive a certificate of compleation for the day to proudly display in your studio.
